Opens with music from 2001 Space Odyssey as background of story is given.
During the course of this intro, the four main characters are “beamed” onto the stage.

She enters and explains her role as narrator.  She has a perch on side.

INTRODUCTION OF KING
King enters with his sidekicks, Kayna and Hora.  Every time the King hears the words kayna hora he spits the words, pooey, pooey, pooey.  Kayna and Hora have shields which they use to protect themselves from the spittle. King sings

The King is a bungler and is always mispronouncing words

THE KING DECIDES TO HAVE A PARTY AND SUMMONS VASHTI WHO WON’T COME.  HE SAYS HE WILL BEAM HER AWAY.

VASHTI IS BEAMED AWAY AND KING LAMENTS HIS DECISION

MOONBEAM BEAMS UP MORDECAI AND ESTABLISHES HIM AS THE YEHUDI KNIGHT.  HE ENTERS WITH OTHER KNIGHTS. THEY SING

KING DECIDES TO HAVE CONTEST TO FIND NEW QUEEN
Moonbeam realizes she must intervene to make certain the story continues correctly.  She asks Esther if she has a plan of what she will do when presented to the King.  She is clueless.  Moonbeam sings with Moonglows about Esther getting a gimmick

ESTHER IS CLUELESS, SO MOONGLOWS ACCOMPANY HER TO CONTEST.
They surround Esther and sing to get King’s attention

INTRODUCTION OF HAMAN
Darth Haman enters.  His first words are spoken in high, squeaky voice.  Person brings our Darth Vader mask and he speaks like Darth Vader. 
Ole Man River – Darth Haman

HAMAN’S PLAN
He will control the power of the kayna hora and use it to eliminate those who displease him.  Yehudi Knights appear.  Haman demands they bow and they refuse.

HAMAN DECIDES TO ELIMINATE YEHUDI KNIGHTS

MEETING BETWEEN MORDECAI AND ESTHER
The Moonglows are with Esther
Moonglow – The Moonglows
Mordecai tells Esther that Haman now controls the force of the Kayna Hora and plans to use it against the Yehudi Knights
He’s Got the Whole World in his Hands – Mordecai and Yehudi Knights
Mordecai wants Esther to go to King.  She says she is too busy
Moonlight in Vermont – Moonglows
She declines to go.  Mordecai tells her she also be a victim.  Moonglows volunteer to go with her

KING CAN’T SLEEP
Children come to sing him a lullaby
Swinging on a Star – Children chorus
He still can’t sleep.  The daily record is read to him.  He decides to honor Mordecai.  Haman enters and suggests that the one to be honored should be flown throughout the galaxy in the Meshuggened Falcon.  Schubacka is summoned to fly the Falcon.  Meanwhile the King keeps trying to use the Kayna Hora to no avail.

MOONBEAM WANTS TO WIND UP THE STORY WHEN ZERESH ENTERS
Moonbeam tries to dismiss Zeresh by telling her that she has no real part in the story.  Zeresh refers her to chapter 6 where she predicts Haman’s demise. 
Don’t Nobody Bring Me No Bad News – Zeresh
Haman tells her about Mordecai and the Meshuggeneh Falcon.  She tells Haman he is done for.

THE BANQUET
The King is delighted with the banquet.  He wants to do something for Esther.
Love Me or Leave Me – Esther
She reveals that Haman wants to kill her.  Haman says that this is his plan and since he has control of the Kayna Hora noone can stop him.  Mordecai enters.  They fight with sabers.  Mordecai wins and his saber is pointing to Haman’s neck.  Haman pleads for his life.  He says, “I am your father.”  They both turn to Moonbeam to verify if this could be true.  Moonbeam doesn’t know, so they call in the Rabbis who say that in no way is Haman Mordecai’s father.  Haman please for his life.
Bewitched – Haman
He is sentenced to die.

HAMAN’S SONS
As Haman is being dragged off, his sons appear.  They also beg for their lives.
